BA CityFlyer

Committed to British Airways quality out of London City Airport

BA CityFlyer is a wholly owned subsidiary of British Airways Plc operating domestic and European services from London City Airport. BA CityFlyer has been operating since March 2007 and has steadily grown the British Airways Group presence at London City Airport to over 400 flights per week serving 18 destinations. BA CityFlyer operates one of the youngest and greenest fleets of aircraft in the UK. An investment of $350M was made in 2009 to replace the fleet of older Avro aircraft with the latest technology Embraer 170 and 190 aircraft, reducing fuel burn and environmentally harmful emissions as well as improving passenger comfort. The 13th such aircraft has recently been delivered. BA CityFlyer employs more than 360 staff, with 150 crew and engineers based at both London City Airport and Edinburgh. The company’s headquarters is in Didsbury, Manchester, where the remaining staff and management team are based.
